1.1 Cancellations by You
You may cancel your booking with us at any time before the scheduled date and time of your pick-up by calling us on our
24×7 Customer Care helpline at
7464812345. If the driver and/or car details have been provided, a cancellation fee will be charged.
1.2 Confirmation of Cancellation
No cancellation fee shall be payable unless
Etaxxi Technologies confirms the cancellation of your ride in accordance with the terms of this Cancellation and Refund Policy.
1.3 Cancellation Fees
1.3.1 Free of Charge Cancellation
A booking request can be canceled
free of charge if the driver or car details have not been provided.
1.3.2 Cancellation After Driver and/or Car Details Provided
If a booking request is canceled after driver and/or car details are provided, you will be charged a
cancellation fee equal to the
complete advance amount paid for the booking.
1.3.3 Cancellations by Drivers
Drivers may cancel a ride request if:
- They have waited 45 minutes at the pickup location, or
- Incorrect pickup location details were provided, or
- You are unreachable via the phone number or email provided.
In such cases, you will either:
- Be charged a cancellation fee equal to the complete advance amount paid, or
- Be charged Rs. 3.5 per minute for Hatchback/Sedan cars, Rs. 4 per minute for SUV/Innova cars, and Rs. 10 per minute for Tempo Travelers after 45 minutes of waiting, at the sole discretion of Etaxxi Technologies.
1.3.4 Cancellations Due to External Factors
In case of cancellations due to
external factors beyond human control (e.g., epidemics, natural disasters, road closures due to force majeure),
Etaxxi Technologies may, at its sole discretion, issue a
voucher for the complete advance amount paid, which can be used in the future without an expiry date.
2.1 Refund Process
Refunds will be processed in accordance with the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
It may take 7 to 10 business days for the refund to be credited and reflect in your account. Etaxxi Technologies shall not be responsible for any loss or damages arising from incorrect banking or account details provided by you.
2.2 Entitlement to Vouchers Without Expiry
You may be entitled to a
voucher for the complete advance amount paid in the following circumstances:
2.2.1 Driver Cancels the Ride
If the allocated driver cancels the ride without providing a valid and reasonable reason, and
Etaxxi Technologies fails to arrange another ride within a reasonable time, you will be issued a
voucher for the complete advance amount paid.
2.2.2 Car Breakdown
If the car breaks down during the trip and the issue is not rectified within a reasonable time, you will be provided a
voucher for the complete advance amount paid.
2.2.3 Cancellations Due to External Factors
In the event of cancellations due to
external factors (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, or force majeure leading to road closures),
Etaxxi Technologies may issue a
voucher for the complete advance amount paid, at its sole discretion, without expiry.
2.2.4 Booking Changes
If you need to make changes to your booking (e.g., car type, trip duration, or itinerary correction) and inform
Etaxxi Technologies well in advance, you may receive a
voucher for the complete advance amount paid, subject to confirmation by
Etaxxi Technologies.
2.3 Refunds Not Issued in the Following Cases
Etaxxi Technologies will not refund or issue vouchers in the following cases:
- You give money or goods directly to the driver, except as mentioned in the invoice.
- Damages or losses occur due to driver negligence, as drivers are third-party service providers. However, Etaxxi Technologies will assist you in recovering your loss or damage in a reasonable manner.
2.4 Misbehavior or Misconduct
Etaxxi Technologies reserves the right to withhold the
complete advance amount paid if there is any instance of misbehavior or misconduct (physical, verbal, or mental) with the driver.
Etaxxi Technologies also reserves the right to take legal action against you in such cases.
